비인두암은 관련 있음. 백혈병은 상관 관계가 있으나, 인과 관계는 분명하지 않음. 비강암은 뚜렷하지 않음. 다른 암종은 관련 없음.
- Overall, the Working Group concluded that the results of the study of industrial workers in the USA, supported by the largely positive findings from other studies, provided sufficient epidemiological evidence that formaldehyde causes nasopharyngeal cancer in humans. (274p)
